Lotte Akkerman
Lotte (Dutch) has worked as a secretary at the United Nations organizations in Switzerland, North Africa, South America, Asia and the Netherlands for over 40 years. Since February 2023 she resides in the Minho in Portugal. For norte.tips she writes among others about new developments and fun things to do and see in the Norte region.
Hans Kok
Hans (Dutch) first came to Portugal over 25 years ago in his role as a radiotherapy teacher and in particular as a specialist in e-learning and problem-based education in a European project. In September 2022, he moved to Soajo in the Peneda-Gerês National Park where he is building a house. Hans is active as the webmaster, writer and photographer and started norte.tips in September 2023.
Marco Rooth
Marco (Dutch) is a painter of abstract impressionistic art and has been an art director and production designer for movies and series for more than 30 years. Since 2017 he is living in Portugal. He is providing norte.tips with photos on an irregular basis.
